Putting Tech Safety on the Ballot

To support safer tech in Massachusetts, the ballot committee Safer Tech at LastTreeLaws.com was established. Our proposed law creates an Office of Research and Technology Optimization (ORTO) that examines & shares how to make technology safer.

Tech is hard to understand, fix, analyze, and control. We need experts on the side of the public working to analyze tech impacts on civil liberties, health, safety, environment, and the economy.

We must be compliant with strict petition initiative requirements. We are using a two-phase rollout to guarantee this initiative wins. This fall, phase 1 includes legal certification, ground testing, and public mobilization. We are also actively gathering community input to perfect our petition.
